Domestic violence can happen to anyone, at any stage of life.
It's a complex problem that greatly affects women who are three times more likely to experience intimate partner violence than men.
The NSW Government has developed a poster about domestic violence and the work of the NSW Domestic Violence Line.
It's a great way to start a conversation about how everyone can play a part in helping to eliminate violence against women.
The line places women at the centre and links them with locally based support services such as counselling, emergency housing and medical services.
These services prioritise women's safety and enhance their capacity to make informed decisions about their lives.
The line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is a free call service for all women.
If you feel passionate about eliminating violence against women, please print the poster and display it in a public area in your place of work: https://buff.ly/2GsDnAM
