Kincumber Neighbourhood Centre is working together with our young people in the community by providing a safe and supportive Youth Space with a dedicated Youth Worker. We are working in partnership with Local Schools, Local Young People, The Local Drug Action Team, Kincumber Community Drug action team (CDAT) and The Youth Interagency networks. We are developing programs that address risk taking and antisocial behavior, support the needs of local Young People and also celebrate our wonderful young people and their contribution to our community.
We believe young people are our future leaders and by providing a space for young people to come together and work on solutions to issues that affect them will empower our most vulnerable. We provide safe youth events, skills development programs with industry mentors and programs that inspire young people to ‘get to better’ and achieve their aspirations and dreams. We love hearing from young people on how we can work with them and believe this will impact the community in a positive way.
